The clinic uses evidence from published scientific research and personal clinical experience to create specific ONE ORTHODONTICS treatment algorithms.
The philosophy of treatment at the clinic is conservative (harnessing the patients own repair and growth processes wherever possible) whilst improving and optimising aesthetics and function.
We firmly believe that one of the most important parts of the patient journey is in helping the patient to understand and weigh up the options to make an informed decision that feels right.

Clear Orthodontic Braces
Clear braces offer a non-removable option for all ages.
Modern ceramic brackets are made from a highly polished glass like material, which is highly stain resistant. ONE ORTHODONTICS offers both conventional and 'self ligating' clear braces.
Clear Orthodontic Aligners
Clear aligners are an option for children, teenagers and adults.
Aligners are removable and although not invisible they are a discrete aesthetic option. ONE ORTHODONTICS offers leading aligner treatments including:
Metal Orthodontic Braces
Metal braces have a long history of use and are relatively common in the UK. They give the same end result as their clear brace alternatives, whilst being more visible.
The coloured bands used to hold the wires in place, give the option to blend in with grey or be bold with bright colours.
Lingual Orthodontic Braces
Traditionally braces have been placed on the cheek / lip side of the teeth. However, there is another technique that uses braces on the tongue side of the teeth, making them much less visible, which can be carried out at ONE ORTHODONTICS.
Habit Stopping Clinic
Thumb sucking, tongue thrusting and dummy sucking can all apply orthodontic forces to the teeth and jaws, which can in turn affect the positions of the teeth and development of the jaws.
This clinic is aimed at little ones, and sometimes teens or even adults that need non-judgemental support and help to stop habits which can cause problems as they grow.
Upper Airway Development
We offer cutting-edge procedures to develop the upper airways.
The link between deficient upper airways and chronic health conditions is becoming increasingly well recognised. This a developing area of medicine and one our lead clinician trained in from both a medical and dental perspective.
Kids (Interceptive) Orthodontics
Interceptive orthodontics is used for a short course of orthodontic treatment in children under 12 years, with the aim of reducing treatment need in the future and/or reducing the risk of harm.
Complex Orthodontics
Complex orthodontics typically involves treatments that require liaison with other specialists.
We have long standing working relationships with a network of specialists we trust that share similar philosophies, which include:
Implantologists
Periodontologists
Endodontists
Oral Surgeons
Facial Surgeons
ENT Surgeons
Plastic Surgeons
Dento-facial Orthopaedics
Dento-facial Orthopaedics is the use of non-surgical techniques in order to modify the shape of the facial bones. This is typically coordinated with orthodontics, because as the bones of the face move, the tooth positions and bite change.
Mandible (lower jaw)
Maxilla (upper jaw)
Zygoma (cheek bones)
Orthodontics + Facial Surgery
Joint orthodontic and facial surgery care is an option when more significant changes in the structure of the facial bones are required and this can not reasonably be achieved with orthodontics or dento-facial orthopaedics alone.
Mandible (lower jaw)
Maxilla (upper jaw)
Zygoma (cheek bones)
Mental (chin)
Nasal bones (nose)

Teeth whitening is non-invasive and safe when done correctly. We offer the following whitening treatments.
At-home whitening
Sports Mouthguards
We custom make high-tech sports mouthguards in the clinic and have a wide selection available. We can talk through the pros and cons and make a recommendation, in particular during orthodontic treatment.
