Metal braces have a long history of use and are relatively common in the UK. They give the same end result as their clear brace alternatives, whilst being more visible.

The coloured bands used to hold the wires in place, give the option to blend in with grey or be bold with bright colours.

Traditionally braces have been placed on the cheek / lip side of the teeth. However, there is another technique that uses braces on the tongue side of the teeth, making them much less visible, which can be carried out at ONE ORTHODONTICS.

Dento-facial Orthopaedics is the use of non-surgical techniques in order to modify the shape of the facial bones. This is typically coordinated with orthodontics, because as the bones of the face move, the tooth positions and bite change.
